Nicole Schnitzler is a freelance writer who covers travel, food, drink, lifestyle, and culture. She specializes in editorial writing, copywriting, and native content creation.

When she is not planning her next adventure (ideally one that will take her any step closer to Paris), she can be found exploring bakeries, Beyonce dance classes, and record shops in her Chicago neighborhood. She is most comfortable with a pen in one hand and a fork in the other — unless it's during class at Northwestern University, where she is currently pursuing her MFA in creative writing (and attempts, in those moments, to swap silverware for chai tea).

She is also the founder of Doors Open Dishes, a fundraising initiative that partners with chefs to help keep the doors open to group homes and workshops for those with developmental disabilities.
